A PREFERRED CHOICE FOR DUST CONTROL AND SOIL STABILIZATION

ROAD BUILDING

“No Dust … Just Durability !”

Solutions for controlling dust and stabilizing soil on many Roads.
Better Roads Equal More Loads.

Cost

  • A cost-effective alternative to paving. Roads treated with Envirotac Product Line of polymers use less material, require less labor, and can be completed faster than traditional methods like asphalt and concrete. This can reduce project costs up to 90% ― without sacrificing performance.

Consequently, building and maintaining a road with our polymers presents a
high-value alternative to traditional methods.

Strength

  • Stronger from the ground up. Our Envirotac Product Line of polymers link soil particles, creating a durable, flexible surface that will stand up to heavy haul trucks and the daily grind of vehicular traffic. Those polymers chemically bond soil particles together at the nano level, without the need for deep
    excavation or imported aggregate.
  • Undeniable global success. Our polymers have successfully been used to construct roads around the world, under sub-optimal conditions. If you are using chlorides, lignins, or enzymes ― make the switch to a superior road stabilizing technology that effectively controls dust, sheds water, and resists weather damage under all conditions.

Maintenance

  • Minimal maintenance. When a road is constructed with our polymers, it will not need to be maintained nearly as often as a road built with water and gravel. Also, our products will hold the grade and greatly reduce potholes and washboarding.
  • Maximum lifespan. Unlike asphalt, which cracks and deteriorates over time, polymer-treated roads maintain their integrity for years, with little maintenance. Once incorporated into the soil, a fog seal is recommended every 12 to 24 months — and costs a fraction of the initial application.

Reduced Permeability

  • Protection from wet conditions. When incorporated into soil, our polymers will encapsulate the soil particles and bind them together.

This greatly reduces the amount of water that enters the soil and minimizes swelling. As a result, if roads get wet, they will not get muddy or slippery as they would after being treated with Magnesium Chloride.

Unpaved Roads

  • Proven road stabilization with global results. Our Envirotac product line has been trusted have been to transform rough, muddy, rutted, potholed roads into durable, smooth routes for vehicles and pedestrians all over the world.
  • Powerful benefits. When native materials are treated with our polymers, they strengthen and stabilize roadways by increasing CBR, improving compaction, reducing permeability, and delivering a dust free surface with superior traction — even in wet conditions.
  • Cost efficient. The overall cost reduction for road maintenance, and exceptional performance benefits, often lead to superior financial outcomes compared to traditional road construction methods using asphalt or concrete.
  • Reduced environmental impact. Our polymers can be applied with minimal disruption to the surrounding ecosystem. Further, they are non-toxic, UV-resistant, and have a long, effective life in a soil matrx.

Heavy Haul Roads

  • Enhanced load-bearing with reduced material volume. Our polymers stabilize soils. This creates a firm, resilient subgrade that better distributes heavy axle loads. This can be done with a lower total pavement thickness than traditional asphalt or concrete roads ― resulting in up to a 90% lower initial cost.
  • Significantly reduced road maintenance intervals. Our polymers control dust and prevent erosion under the most demanding conditions. They are more resistant to rutting, moisture intrusion, and freeze-thaw cycles compared to untreated or conventionally compacted materials.
  • Lower vehicle operating costs. Smoother, more stable, dust-free surfaces translate directly into less wear and tear on vehicles and tires, lower fuel consumption, and lower maintenance costs.
  • Ideal for remote or resource-limited locations. Where hauling aggregate is logistically challenging or economically unfeasible (for example: mining roads in undeveloped regions), our polymers allow for more self-sufficient roadbuilding.

Fire Access Roads

  • A job site necessity. Nearly all construction projects require code-compliant fire access roads, capable of supporting the heavy loads of emergency vehicles.
  • Envirotac polymers: exceed load requirements at lower cost. The PSI requirement for an 80,000 lb Fire Truck and H-20 loading is 110 PSI. With the use of our Envirotac Product Line of polymers, you can achieve much greater than the 110 PSI requirement ― at a fraction of the cost of building a fire access road with traditional means.

Border Patrol Roads

  • Dust control is “mission success.” Our Envirotac Product Line of polymers is a solution for dust control in Border Patrol operations. They will deliver immediate and long-term benefits across patrol roads, staging areas, and surveillance zones.

Eliminating dust not only protects vehicles from dust damage, it also protects sensitive equipment such as sensors, cameras, and drones.
  • Increased safety on patrol. When applied to unpaved routes, our polymers bind loose soil and create a hardened, dust-free surface that prevents dust clouds from disclosing the location of Border Patrol vehicles. Applying these polymers also improves driving visibility, thereby enhancing the safety of CBP agents.
  • Reduced maintenance, faster response times. These polymers also eliminate the potholes and washboarding which create an ongoing need to regrade roads. Finally, smoother roads will reduce the frequency of vehicle maintenance and repairs, and allow the vehicles to travel at faster speeds.
