Mine Tailings Dust Control

The Envirotac Product Line of polymers has been assisting mines reduce airborne particulate matter for over 32 years.

Used on tailings, our polymers create a tough layer of protection that
laminate soil particles in place. We have had singular applications that
have been effective for over five years.

Haul Roads

  • Enhanced load-bearing with reduced material volume. Our Envirotac Product Line of polymers stabilizes soils. This creates a firm, resilient subgrade that better distributes heavy axle loads. This can be done with a lower total pavement thickness than traditional asphalt or concrete roads ― resulting in a 10% to 30% lower initial cost.
  • Significantly reduced road maintenance intervals. Our polymers-stabilize layers, control dust, and prevent erosion under the most demanding conditions. They are more resistant to rutting, moisture intrusion, and freeze-thaw cycles compared to untreated or conventionally compacted materials. “Better roads lead to more loads”.
  • Lower vehicle operating costs. Smoother, more stable, dust-free surfaces translate directly into less wear and tear on vehicles and tires, lower fuel consumption, and lower maintenance costs.
  • Ideal for remote or resource-limited locations. Where hauling aggregate is logistically challenging or economically unfeasible (for example: mining roads in undeveloped regions), our polymers allow for more self-sufficient roadbuilding.
