Base Camp Dust Control
Untreated soils within and outside the perimeter of a base can become wind-whipped dust. Many times, the airborne particles can cause health injuries to personnel, equipment malfunctions, and contamination of living quarters. With just a light treatment of one our dust control polymers, you can keep dust from becoming a hazard.
Tactical Road Stabilization
Supply roads are vital to keep the supply chain going. If the road deteriorates and is in bad condition, it can drastically slow down supply processes. Using our Envirotac II / Rhinosnot By: VEPA can stabilize the roads and keep them in good shape. Using them prevents ruts and washboarding so vehicles can maximize speed and avoid untimely breakdowns, maintenance and repair costs.
Helicopter Landing Pad Stabilization
To prevent dust “brown outs” and FOD (Foreign Object Damage), Envirotac Product Line of polymers are ideal for constructing helo landing pads.The resulting pads are tough, durable, dust- free places to land. Also, they withstand the onslaughts of high winds and refueling truck traffic.
Heavy-Lift Capable Runways
Envirotac II/ Rhino Snot By: VEPA has been used successfully with native soils to construct strong durable runways and runway shoulders ― whether in theatre or on-base. Our military clients have told us that our treated runways have sustained daily landings from aircraft as large as the C-5 Galaxy (pictured).

Applications include, but are not limited to: Base camps, runways, landing pads, supply roads, and other uses such as FOB and Emergency Response support.. In a test conducted by the United States Naval Facilities Engineering Service Center, our Envirotac Product Line of polymers were 97% effective, significantly outperforming a well-known competitor.
