A PREFERRED CHOICE FOR DUST CONTROL AND SOIL STABILIZATION

Frequently Asked Questions

Financial Focus

As the provider of the Envirotac product line, we offer factory-direct prices. Our polymers are priced per gallon/liter.

Discounts are based on volume. Substantial discounts are available with full truckloads (4,400 gallons +).

We accept Checks, ACH, Credit Cards (Visa, Master Card, Amex), Cash and all Government Procurement Cards.

Government studies have concluded that, over time, the Envirotac product line of polymers is the most cost-effective for dust suppression when compared to traditional products such as asphalt cement stabilization, chlorides and water.

Tech-Focus

Our polymers can be diluted in salt water (max 4% salt).

Our polymers do not dissipate with rain. Heavier concentrations will actually waterproof the treated surface.

A hydroseeder is recommended to mix and apply seed, mulch and our polymers together. The Envirotac product line will work as a super strength tackifier. It will also expedite the germination process of seed.

Once performance has reached the limits of its longevity, a follow-up application is necessary to restore and rejuvenate for optimal performance. Reapplying our polymers to a previously treated area usually requires only 20% of the original application amount to achieve the same results.

Decreasing the application rate (for increased coverage) will result in reduced strength, longevity and performance.

The Envirotac product line is water-soluble. Application equipment should simply be rinsed out after use. Cured polymers need to be soaked with a degreasing agent and high pressure washed.

Performance Focus

The United States Marine Corps, through the Naval Facilities Engineering Service Center, conducted an extensive scientific bench scale and field evaluation of dust suppression products. These products must be capable of reducing PM10 (particles with an aerodynamic diameter less than 10 microns) to levels in compliance with the Clean Air Act.

The dust suppression products were evaluated in terms of material and labor costs, and equipment requirements for the Air Combat Center located at Twentynine Palms, CA. Extensive military activities are conducted on unpaved roads at the Air Combat Center. The polymer we submitted for testing was ranked as THE TOP-PERFORMING PRODUCT` in terms of bench and field-testing, economic and toxicity analysis.

Overall, we have been in business more than 32 years. During that time, we have helped many private and military sector customers end their dust control, soil stabilization, and soil erosion problems ― all over the world. We would be happy to provide industry-specific references upon your request. You should also look at our Reviews page in this website to get an idea of customer responses.

Dust suppression studies have consistently established the Envirotac product line as one of the most effective in terms of cost, ease of application, environmental safety and durability. This is further documented by our CBR and UCS reports.

We can provide a detailed list of road commissioners and superintendents from around the country who have successfully used our polymers as dust control agents in place of other products.

Tests have confirmed that the Envirotac product line of polymers are one of the most cost-effective and durable dust suppression products available on the market. Please call or email us for videos and application instructions.

Alternative Soil Treatments Focus

With Enzymes you need a certain percentage of clay content in order for it to be effective. The application cost is high. When it cures you generally need to apply another product to the surface as there will still be top dust.

Petroleum resin emulsions leach away with precipitation, are harmful to vegetation and ground water, become slippery when wet, are difficult to clean from application equipment and track onto vehicles.

Magnesium Chlorides, while very cheap in initial cost, are back-loaded with expenses. Mag Chlorides are corrosive to metal so it puts equipment and vehicles at risk. Treated surfaces become slippery when wet. It also leaches away with precipitation, so the need to re-apply is much greater. Finally, it is harmful to groundwater and vegetation.

Organic Resin Emulsions are not easy to apply. They offer low tensile strength and do not create a great bond between the soil particles. They also can become tacky and stick to tires and vehicles.

Lignin Sulfonates are corrosive to aluminum. They leach away with precipitation and are harmful to ground water. The area that has been treated can become slippery when wet as well.
